Not sure if this is the right place for this, but I got a deal on a freshly built Ford WCT5. It came with a brand new sbc bell and adapter plate to fit it up to the bell. My question is about the input shaft length. It’s a standard 10 spline like all the later fords. Do I need to swap the shaft for a Chevy or can I just run it with the length it is, throw a stock mustang clutch in and be done? I’ve already swapped the tail housing with the Chevy WCT5 housing that came out of the truck so the shifter will be correctly placed.

And before we get into how weak they are and all that, it has a g-force kit in it and it’s going behind a 350 with a very mild cam, an intake and a 650 carb. Nothing crazy at all and It’s a babied daily driver.
