bah an Alpine 9813 would do just fine as well. Its got EQ and an built in crossover. Add KAC-121B ($20) and you can hook up any input to it. BEST ELECTRONIC ive ever bought
yes that Kicker EQ would also work. Chances are your getting alot of noise from the FM mod and the cheap EQ. IF you really like your headunit I would consider replacing the cheaper components instead.

I cant say enough good things about it. If you want to hook up your PS2 to it make sure you get the extra cable. Alpine Part # KAC-121B
