I have a 40 series Flowmaster on my truck w/a turndown after the muffler, my question is, would i get anymore power (torque) if i put the factory tail pipe w/a million and one bends and turns?

when I did mine I ran the full tail pipe...I didn't notice a whole alot of difference...except for the sound..It will be alot quiter with the pipe on there...I'm talking it sounds like stock..you can't even here it running when you stop at stop lights...I didn't like it...but it did run about the same.

Its pretty damn loud right now, and it vibrates everything, but its liveable.

What kinda weld to you suggest? one of my clamps leaks a little (the POS) So i was thinking spot welding, i dunno.

I don't know..I had mine on the rack and just welded it all the way around mine...then I hacked off the tail with a sawzall....I have a dount gasket leaking and thats the only thing that I know is leaking on my exhaust..
