That's odd that an all electric S10 (VIN H) has a spark plug firing order

hmm, interesting. 1+4 are always going to be paired together, allong with 2+3. how you put the wires on shouldn't make a difference as long as you pair the cylinders to the right coil pack.

Firing order will be 1 - 3 - 4 - 2, with wires on the coil pack being 1,4,2,3. You can switch 1/4, or 2/3 on the coils.

Thast the wrong coil sequence for the flew fuel. It reads (as I have done this for 20 years on my 2000 s10 2.2l. 1,4, 3,2. Also how do I know? I do one plug/wire at a time.

Besides digging up a prehistoric thread, you got the firing order wrong. The correct order is 1342.

And yet youre still here to give out the wrong order. I just did my order for VIN 5 and works perfectly and have so every 3 years for the last 20. Carry-on....

Sorry but 1,4 and 2,3 cannot fire after each other because of the lost spark ignition system they are on the same coil and fire 360 degrees apart, not 180 degrees like you have. You have something wrong with your numbering on the coils.

What? Each coil fires twice per cycle. That is how you get a "wasted" spark. Not sure where you're getting 360 degrees from.

I'm talking about the cylinder firing, not the coils. The coils fire to both of the companion cylinders 1&4 and 2&3 every 360 degrees of crank rotation. On a non waste spark system, the coil fires every 720 degrees to each cylinder.
