not hard at all. Cut two hole in the bottom of my glove box for the wires. Unpluged the controls. Extended a few wires. hooked it back up. One thing that did happen is when i unhooked the part where you can change the settings from floor..to vent...to a/c. It let out some gas or freon (sp). so now it doesn't have the same feel to it. Move from one to another very easy. well worth it though.

Hey man that was just vaccum held in the system. The control uses engine vaccum to open and cloes the different vents in the Heat/AC unit. Make sure you didn't pinch a line and that you have it pushed all the way on the back of the control.

How did you reattach the piece around the door handle after you recovered it? I've done one side in my truck and I used JB Weld. Just wondering if there is a better way. Also how did you reattach the strip at the top that the window rubs against?

melted the plastic using a plastic welder...it just blow hot air. Staples up top.
