ok now me an a friend are arguing about air line... he said Ex. if u run 3/8 vlaves and 3/8 lines it will b the same speed as if 3/8 valves and 1/2 lines... or bigger. i said that 3/8 and1/2 will b faster then 3/8 and 3/8 who is right?:welder:

huh? say it is the same system set up 3/8 valves an 3/8 line.... and u swapin 1/2 lines for the 3/8 line it will b fatser wit the 1/2 then the 3.8 line wont it?

the 1/2" line will be faster......larger oriface = more flow..........

air line is measured in outside diameter (od). valves are measured in orifice diameter. You want to match up the orifice diameter with the inside diameter of the air line. 1/2 inch airline has an inside diameter of 3/8 of an inch. Therefore, a 3/8 valve is optimized (faster) with 1/2 airline. You win.

yea but point is.. i SHUT HIM DOWN... i got jasons kit and he has bin talkin so much chit on it and it was gettin to me... and i had to shut him up beside knocking his teeth down his throat:boobies:
