Does anyone know what the factory color is called on a white '99? I am going to paint my door and tailgate handles with the shaker duplicolor and there are a few differant whites. Not sure which one would be the best.

Thanks

I want to say brite white, but that sounds too easy. I can't remember, but I have a can of it at my house 70 miles away (not that that helps)

Damn, guess I was way off :dunno: Maybe the dealer can run your VIN and tell you the paint code.

There is a service part identificaion tag in the glove box which is suppose to have the color code.
Mine reads BC/CC which means base coat clear coat and next to that is 92H which i think is the color.
I'm guesing it is going to be just white. I used the bright white to touch up some other stuff and it was too white.
You would think that white is white but that's just not the case.
Thank yall for all the help.

I think 92H is a RPO. This came up in the forum RPO Decoder for 92H
92H - TRIM COMBINATION , "CLOTH, MED DK PEWTER (H) (97)"
92H - TRIM COMBINATION , "CLOTH, MED DK PEWTER II/VERY DK PEWTER, (H) (01)"

I know 50U is Summit White.
Have you tried calling a dealership's service dept.?

in the glove box on your survice tag there is a number with a U in front of it. this is your paint code. mine is a 4 digit #. mine is a 97 yours may have less #'s. go to auto sone or advenced auto and look up the paint code to get what color it is.
