I've been thinking about doing this. Just to be diffrent. I know ill have a shorter bed and no i dont want to buy a ext cab b/c then it wouldnt be diffrent plus I can still fit in smaller spaces

sounds sick! I wonter how much work it would take, but deff would be different. I never thought of this, its brilliant. Go for it. I imagine w/ this you woudl get better handling too, moving more weight to the center of the truck.

It would be easy to do. Just get a bed off of a crew cab truck. they started makeing them in 01

i measured it already and there isnt enough bed on those. There will be a big gap between the cab and bed. Ill have to cut my bed plus relocate the fill neck.
