Ok, so I went from a 4l60e to a th350 cos it cost me a case of beer and besides that I don't have the cash for a rebuild or a used 4l60e. The truck ran with the wasted tranny in it. We then took out the dash etc and towed the thing to the shop to swap em out. (we pulled the dash to tidy up wires) and now after putting the th350 in it won't start. The fuel pump kicks on but it won't turn over. Do the gauges need to be hooked up as some kind of safety measure for the engine to fire or for it not to be able to run without the odometer hooked up? Bad ground somewhere maybe? We hooked up the electronic shift sensor from the old tranny and had it set on nuetral, is there something we might be missing? It's a 2000 dime, 4.3 if that matters. Any help to get this thing moving would be awesome, thanks.
