Just curious if any of you are using this muffler-It's an Edelbrock RPM series stainless steel. 3" center, dual 2.5" outlet. It has turn down tips right after the muffler, but I'm wondering if I'll get better sound if I extend the pipes to the back/sides. I'm keeping the cat the way it is to keep the level down. The guy that had it said it was too loud w/out it.

Plus, any of you put in your own exhaust system b4? Or is it just worth it to take it to monro or somethin and let them tinker with it?

Can't tell you about the muffler, other than Edelbrock makes some good stuff, But I'd highly suggest you have a shop do the install so they can weld it up and do the bends.

update:

The muffler is on. I took it to Cole Muffler for them to install it. Sounds a little loud, but nothing my sound system can't block. And, it has a sweet deep sound. As soon as I can figure out how to record it onto my comp, I'll post it.

I have this muffler on my RX7.

Wished they still make them.

Would have been considered as a muffler for the truck.
