I was wondering if anyone with an e-fan can help me out on this. I have a 2001 4.3L and I am looking at an e-fan to get...I have been looking at the universal 18" e-fans which cost around $103.99 from JEGS...There are also the spec e-fan but its a little too much for me...Do you have any suggestions for what I should do? I am also planning to put another e-fan right behind the radiator as my puller...do u also have any suggestions for me?...Please let me know ASAP on what I should do:banghead:

Do a search, lots of info available.
My preference is to avoid the aftermarket fans.
Get a Taurus, T-Bird or Fiero fan. They all move more air, and are better built. Typically $25 at the junkyard.

Buy a thermostatic fan switch kit (about $20) from Autozone.
To mount the fan get some help, if you can't figure it out.
It's not rocket science.

For the wiring all the instructions you need are in the kit.
It has a temp probe that sticks into the radiator fins.
Wiring involves:
a wire to a igniton hot
a wire to the battery (constant hot)
a ground wire
a wire to the fan (12v+)
a fan ground wire.
