has anybody ever put a stock 2.2 on the dyno? also has enybody ever dynoed any mods? K&N claims their air filter chrger kit adds something like 12 hp and 22 foot pounds of torque that seems a little exxessive to me. has anybody dynoed any other mods? also what mods would help you get better gas mileage in these motors?

no, but i have GTECH'ed my 2.2. Just as good as a dyno for me untill it makes some REAL #"s :rock:

volant intake, jet stage 1, borla w. turndown
another truck modded similar with a stage 2 dynoed 1hp higher

stock s10s are down in the low 90's

spec's say 120hp/120torq, thats at the motor. so with all the loss in the drivetrain basically 95-96hp stock would be at the wheels.

Dynojet dyno
a mustang dyno or a Dynapack could read higher or lower depending on the program they run
