I wish you had all seen this earlier. I've got 20 people on the main list to run and about 8 on stand-by now. I won't discourage anyone from coming out to hang out, as I'd certainly like to meet some local S10 guys! Additionally, I've coordinated several dyno days in the past and it never fails that someone (or two or 3 or 4!) fall out for weather, broke cars, or other engagements.
I can tell you that Turbo Tech will run rain or shine, and I've been there for both. But some people feel their cars or themselves might melt in the rain and they don't show. I'm just trying to get people out of the house and get something going during the off-season.
I'm a gearhead as much as anyone else, and I've got a good balance of Ford, Chevy, and a couple Mopars in there. Supposedly a Honda Accord owner is coming to run also, with 750 whp worth of 4-cylinder madness running on C16.

I've got quite a few other heavy-hitters as well - N20, N/A, blowers, and turbo cars. A couple shop owners from Auburn and Monroe too. One of them laid down the gauntlet last night, claiming he has the record for highest N/A torque, through cats and running on pump gas. Bring it if you think you can top him; he's welcoming the friendly challenge! This particular car is LSx powered too.
If you've never been to Turbo Tech you should go; you never know what they've got cookin' in there. I eyeballed a cherry '95-ish Impala SS w/ an LS7 plunked in the engine bay on Friday evening sitting in their shop waiting for tuning.
I've had a HUGE response for this particular dyno day, so much so that I can easily set up another day in a month or so. They've got a gas grill there and encouraged people to bbq if you want. Bring your own, or, I've got a guy or two to help and we're going to take up a small collection first thing in the morning ($5-ish each? donation only) and send a runner to Costco or whatever so we can have a burger burn. I'm going to bring a cooler and ice for soft drinks.
Bring a lawn chair or two also!
