First off, I do not wanna hear about how all these other mufflers are so great!(especially flowmaster) OR how glasspacks sound like shit.

Ok, I have decided I am going to get duals for my 4.3. My question is should I have one glasspack followed by a Y-pipe, or should I go with a Y-pipe and 2 glasspacks. My uncle had a Y-pipe followed by 2 glasspacks on his 4.3 and it sounded good. Would one sound any different? If so, how? Different sound? Louder?

well, if you only use one glasspack, youll only have to replace one every 3 months. if you use too, you'll probably lose some torque, and have to buy 2 glasspacks every 3 months.

JC Whitney sells a kit for you that has 2 glass packed muffler ends in a 3 1/2 size. It y's just after where the muffler sits. LOUD yes, sound like **** yes, had mine on 2 months and dumped it!!
