I was wondering if anyone knew if u buy a 1 inch drop spring,
that it will have exactly a one inch drop in the front, not some 3 or 4 inch drop. I have heard people say that they bought a one or two inch drop springs and they get a lot more of a drop than expected. I live on a dirt road so I just want a 1 inch drop up front on my X. I already have 2 inch blocks in the back.
Any help would be appreciated.

if you want an additional 1" up front you would need to by 2.5" drop springs. Drop springs are typical rated drop for stock vehicles. The springs you have already give you a 1.5" drop. Typically people get the belltech 3" drop springs or you could cut your coils.....what you want may be hard to find

i bought 3" drop springs for my 99 X, it dropped it only about an 1. AIM makes them and so does belltech.

bel-4225 is the 3 inch drop spring for a 4
