I have noticed on a few Jimmy's and Sonoma's that the DRL lights turn off when the turn signal is turned on. Is this a module or relay, I think it would be a different mod to do

My vehicle is a 2001 Blazer Xtreme converted to a Envoy/Sonoma but thought it would be cool to have the DRL's turn off with the turn signal.

Personally, I think its more of a safety thing......

When your drl's are on during the day, you can barely see the turn signal. So, maybe GM caught whiff of this, and made it so they shut off, so you can see the turn signal thing.

But idunno, I'm just guessing. Thats my "theory".
