Driveshaft after lowering

Hello, and I thank you for your help in advance. I used a 3" Ground Force lowering kit(springs in front and blocks out back) to lower my daughters 98 std cab short bed. I reinstalled the driveshaft today(2.2l manual) and it was a very snug fit. Do I need to get the drive shaft shortened?

Define snug? 3” drop springs in front is not a good way to go.

Very snug, no wiggle room. What is wrong with the springs up front?
If you mean no wiggle rom front to back, you need to take it out and have it shortened. Different driveline shops have different methods for measuring. If you drive it like that, the driveline will bottom out in the transmission and destroy it.
3" springs up front will guarantee a rough ride and the control arms banging on stuff. Spend the money and get some 2" drop spindles and some ZQ8 drop springs for a 2.2 with the ZQ8 suspension.
