Im looking into buying some Drag Radials for my S10 but ive never been good with tires sizes. Does anyone know what the biggest and widest tire I can hit wihtout the risk of rubbing or cutting things. Its a 1983 S10 Tahoe edition regular cab.

Biggest tire is mostly done for cosmetics. A big fat tire can slow you down. How much power are you putting down?
What other traction devices do you have?
What gear ratio do you have?
My old truck ran in the mid 10 second range, 4.10 gears, M&H racemasters 28×10×15 on a 15x10 Weld wheel was the best for me cutting 1.47 60' hooking HARD also had 4200 Art Carr converter huffing a 150 shot. As soon as I launched the truck the N20 came on( about 10' out) It would not hook directly out the gate so I quit trying after I almost hit the guardrail.
1985 Xtra cab lowered 3/4, regular slapper bars, de-arched leaf springs, C -notch
