but it aint good. when i hit a left turn my tranny slips. Only on sharp turns, not on less thn 90 dgree turns. it make a god awful grinding noise but still goes a little. any ideas any one?

check your fluid and also your filter.

ive got a question for you. How fast are you taking corners? I had a 64 Impala with Powerglide that would do that when I would go around corners to the left and even if I just mashed the gas. It was poorly adjusted column linkage and there is a spring right across from the tranny where your linkage bolts to the gear selector on the tranny. That could be worn and letting the tranny try to pop out of gear when it rolls in the turns. Theres also a bushing with the spring that could be getting worn and sloppy. Check those two things out. Tranny mount too.:thumbup:
