My friend has a 2000 Blazer 4.3. He wants to put rockers and a cam in it. He will probally run 1.5 on the intake and 1.6 on the exhuast for nitrous. How strong are the stock valvesprings? If he gets a cam, then he will get new valvesprings but if he only gets rockers for now, will the stock valvesprings take it? What else has to be done to run roller rockers on a 4.3? I have seen the kit from Mach Performance, it's too expensive, what all is needed to put roller rockers on a 4.3?

The Comp 56-460-8 cam seems like a good cam for nitrous, would the stock computer be okay? How cam friendly is it?

well, to run 1.6 ratio rockers you will need to call Mach Performance and get a set of there valve cover spacers so the arms will clear the top of the covers. and with a new cam and rockers i recommend new springs, just to be on the safe side of things. as far as the cam specs go, im not too sure, try calling comp cams and asking what they recommend. good luck.
