I have my aftermarket tech wire and just have to put the correct end on it. Just don’t know which wire to plug into the Batt on dizzy! Posting pic of factory pigtail

Distributor is just sitting in place til i get correct length hold down bolt BTW. And for those curious that big black bulk is my factory not needed wiring. 3rd generation in my family to own/drive the truck and I’m not cutting anything out in case I ever decide to throw the number matching 4.3 back in!
The white wire on the coil is usually the tach out put wire, but since you have obviously rewired it? You can see in the pic that it is a direct connection from the pick up in the old distributor. Pin #2
Here's how it was connected originally.
Back in the day the tach was connected to the negative wire terminal of the HEI coil.

Thank you sir, usually look forward for your replies as they’re most helpful typically. I thought about possibly trying to check for keyed on power through the oem connector and using that wire. That’s what I’ve read prior and been told is the wire to plug into the HEI?..
