Anyone know what is different between the 95 and 98+ 4.3 exhaust systems?

me to ive asked before but have not got any responses, i think its the cat flange..pre 98 has a 3 bolt flange were as 98-up has a 2 bolt.

well I've found out what the difference is. The 98+ exhaust is about 3-4 inches shorter than the 95. Also there a cross member is in a different location so some resonators from 98+ won't fit on the 95.

well i bought a flowmaster catback for a 98+ and it came with a resonator that goes right after the cat. I couldn't use that because the crossmember didn't allow it to fit so I had to use the stock cat-muffler pipe. I did get it to fit but it's not perfect.The flanges for the cat are the exact same on the 98+ and 95, both 3 bolt. I might be able to get some pics in the next few days.
