Hi there I found this in my driveway a while back roughly underneath the front driver side bumper of my 2003 s10 ls reg cab 2.2

It looks like a temperature sensor, but smaller.

I'm not convinced it can't off this truck but would appreciate if one of you s-10 experts could confirm!

Looks like a coolant temperature sensor. Previous owner could of changed and dropped it and it got stuck on engine/frame and just fell. Or you have no coolant cuz of it blowing out the motor (Doubtful).

That's a coolant.temp sensor for sure. On my 2000 it's on the left cylinder head above cylinders 3 & 5.

It does look like a coolant temperature sensor, but it's not from a 2.2l. Threads are too small.
