Still flushing through my cooling system and discovered the Reservoir is cracked where the radiator line connects. Looking into replacement tanks they mention a DexCool cap. What does that mean? I plan to replace the coolant with Green Coolant, and since the system is not under pressure at this point, I think this is just a marketing plug. Is DxC that different from other coolant to require a different cap on a non pressureized tank?

No, that just means it comes with the Dex-cool cap. It says Dex-cool on it.

Maybe I should have said Marketing Cap. 🙃 Guess it would matter if you Want to run DexCool. Thanks.

I wouldn't call it a marketing thing... I would call it a warning to put the correct type of coolant in.
