This is what I started out with, a $400 2001 2dr blazer (automatic 2wd) Found it in a buddies field when I bought my full-size, came back a year later and snatched him up. Sat for about 8 years( from what I heard) Didn't start (duh:cautious:), fuel tank was rusted out, and it had enough weeds growing in it to start a forest fire. Overall $400 wasn't too bad.

After Getting it home I had to go against my plans of just straight out LS Swapping. My daily driver started to tap out, and I only really had a week to get this blazer going.
-Changed gas tank off my wrecked turbo blazer
-New fuel pump, and a modified spider from Germany
-Cap Rotor(always)
-Thermostat and I swear 17 Flushes
-Basic tune-up, plugs wires, filters.....
-Brakes and rotors, again stolen off my Turbo
-Intake gasket, and took a hone to my intake bores
Had it running and inspected In 4 day
So far things are Smooth :)

Looks like a fun project. What are your plans for it as you daily drive it?

After dealing with 18-year-old suspension, it was time for an upgrade. I did just your cheap *** drop kit, and new ball joints bushings blah blah... The only thing I guess you could call cool was the old Power Stop calipers. Blasted off the red in a buddies blast cabinet, and painted them forest service green.? Overall really didn't see a difference in braking power, but with steel lines the brakes stayed cool. (This is something I would like to redo soon, new spindles, coil-overs, and stiffen the rear)

Overall love the stance, not to low still has some muscle.

Fan clutch ended up blowing itself apart, so LS swap radiator went in. (Kit came with fans, Swap those out for some better ones) This was was first steps into prepping for the inevitable 5.3, and one the 4.3 still wasn't a bad upgrade.

Some other LS swap prep, This brings my DeathWagon Project to the current time. So Will be posting a more in-depth post about the swap, maybe throw it on youtube. Currently bouncing between Wiring, and Building a new garage. But so far the parts I have acquired are, nv3500 transmission, Wiring harness, Motor, 8.5 with a posi(out of my turbo blazer, another thing I had to rebuild), interior harness, whole pedal assembly, LS swap in a box kit, LS3 water pump, and all the engine basics( no cam yet?) Once this Garage is done, Ima slap this thing back together.

Cleaned up the rear with mono leafs, swapped Shackles, and 1-inch blocks. Was having wheel hop with the new stack, So I took the helper off the old stack and put it on the top. Pretty much a redneck track bar. I do have a little wheel hop, but it's not as deadly as before. The new solution is a pinion snubber which I am still working on.

Using Energy Suspension 9.9101G - Energy Suspension Bump Stops that I ordered off summit, and some plate steel/hardware. Gonna mount it through the plate which then will be bolted onto the body, then just hang the bump stop above the pinion.

This image is just an example, hoping to get it done tonight.

Forgot I had a build thread going. What I have here is the final evolution of my front/rear suspension, until I go to a Coilover and four-link. I got away with the wheel hop using Truck overloads on the top, and spring clamps.
New KYB performance shocks all around.
Cleaned up control arms, and got rid of the moog sway links.

Coming up is a complete A/C delete, and making engine bay room. Rerouting the harness, CPU, overflow, and maybe the battery.

Here is the A/C plate I made, gonna make an internal mount for the CPU, and a mount for an overflow tank. I'll post when I'm all done with this side.

So got the harness put into the Cab, and wiring all plugged in(plugs I don't need marked, ready to cut) Whole lot of room cleared, stuck my 80mm turbo in have plenty of room. That's not what I'm gonna run, just checking clearance.

Also Part one of the dash assembly.... pedal swap. Now with the parts coming in, I'm halfway to the manual swap. I'll post some pictures of my dash design when I get a little more into it.
