I’m about to install the factory dash in my 93 s10 blazer 2wd 2 door. When I got the project it was already out and totally disconnected. It’s getting an ls swap and for right now the radio won’t be hooked up or installed. Ignition will be on a panel so no ignition cylinder / stock column at all.
the wiring in it looks butchered and a little too sketchy for my liking.
Anyone have a wiring diagram for the dashboard and even better a BCM diagram also?
Lastly anyone know where I can get a new dash wiring harness ? And a new or remanufactured bcm? Any tips or insight on a dash install is appreciated. Kinda going in blind on this one and probably gonna have to buy all new bolts for the dash as well. I’m not afraid of a little fabricating and weight reduction (not using every single bolt/screw)

A 93 wiring diagram won't be of any help if the ignition switch and steering column are from somewhere else. That's most of what's wired under there. The instrument cluster is plug and play as long as you provide a ground for it.

BCM from what? A '93 Blazer doesn't have one.
Hahah excuse my lack of knowledge on this. Not used to a car this “old” I’m running Holley EFI. As far as the windows, locks, headlights, tail lights & signals , will I be able to use them with removal of the factory computer? Basically is there an interior /body fuse and relay block that’s separate from the drive train one?

I’d like to use the factory headlight switch if it’s in the dash and not in the turn signal lever. I’m gonna be running my gauges thru the Holley software.
I wish I could just order a fiberglass or sheet metal dash and be done but the classes it’s gonna eventually end up racing require a factory dash 🙄

The wiring in your truck is about as basic as it gets. GM was still using wiring conventions it started back in the late 50's on your truck. No BCM, No class 2 data, nothing fancy like that. That being said, the ignition switch does power more than just the coil and starter, and making sure all those circuits are powered how they should be, and on their own individual circuits like the engineer designed it will greatly help everything to work properly.

The only connection from the headlight switch to the steering column is the blue wire that goes into the dimmer switch. Out of the dimmer will be tan and green go out to he low (tan) and high(green) beams.
