can this dash be repaired? thinking of cutting out around the hole, filling in with bondo or something and covering with a vinyl repair kit. any suggestions?

also...can the soft vinyl on the dash be painted? if so, with what kind of paint?

You can buy an insert called a dashmat or a dashcover that will custom mold to your dashboard. I think they are about $70 or so. Just goop the crack so it doesn't spread anymore. It doesn't matter what it looks like because it will be hidden by the cover.

Check E-bay, I've seen them there before.
