I have a quick question about my dash peice, i already painted it to match my paint,like 6 months ago, but it didnt come out the way i wanted it to, whut i mean is its not as smooth as i thought it would be.. Now my question is, can i take out the dash peice, and do eveything over again, with-out screwing up anything???

I don't think you will screw anything up if you take the dash back out. Be sure to sand it down, then repaint it. It should come out smoother that way.

i started off with a 400 grit sandpaper... whut would you recomend using this time to start off??

shit i used a DA sander with like 220 grit and it still took hours to sand down, but it came out reallllll smooth

Yeah you can redo it. Just sand it all down and repaint it. I'd start out with about 220 grit and go up to 1000 grit if you want it to be smooth. Also if you hand sand it them it will come out smoother and better looking. It will take longer, but in the end it will be nicer.

hey thanx man, i have another question to add.. when im sanding the dash the 2nd time, must i remove all of the old paint off?? or can there be a little bit left on the dash peice?
