Decided to put the 17s back on the front but they needed new shoes. The ride is a bit smoother now with the 245 45 17 opposed to the 275 40 18s up front.
Time for a little more LOW

Moog idler arm time
For starters, I removed the factory idler arm it was extremely worn at 170k lol . The Moog part is little beefier for sure. Thankfully, it was a simple r&r this morning.
After driving this truck for the last 2 years I got used to the way it drives and let me tell you the Moog made a huge difference in the steering and I no longer feel the same slack in the wheel.

old unit deserves a proper burial

From wich model do you get rear end? I would like to do the same in my 92
2001 5spd Blazer 2wd
Only because I lucked out with finding one other than that it would have been an 8.8 from an Explorer.

The ever so elusive 8.5 s10 rear costs more IF you find one, you have to get your driveshaft shortened 3/4" also whereas the 8.8 gets a conversion u joint and a 3.00 fitting to go from ford to chevy on the main brake line.
