Ok, first of all you don't need to relocate the gas tank to lay frame. You have one of two choices...... you can go with EasyStreets 3-link or you can have a four-link fabbed. You will be able to lay frame without moving the gas tank. You will however need to relocate your fuel evap tank, but that's not a big job. Some people have eliminated it all together, but I wouldn't recommend it. :(
As far as crossmembers go, Sport Truck Specialties makes one for our trucks as well as a few other places. I think there is a gp happening on one right now, check the gp forum.
:D
I'm not familiar with FBI to be honest with you, but I know that Easy Street makes a good kit as well as Air Ride. Both are good kits, Easy Street is a bolt-on and Air Ride is weld-on, it all depends on personal preference.
I personally am mixing and matching all my air ride to get the best of every company that I like. All my brackets and four link and bridge are being custom fabbed.
As far as I know, you can even lay frame without cutting the bed of your truck, you just need to get the right sized notch. Myself, I like the look of having the bed cut, and I think you're gonna get more drop that way.
Hope this helps. If you need any pricing on Easy Street, or others let me know.
If you want pricing on Air Lift, [email protected] is your best bet. He's a good guy and he'll give you good pricing. (I'm not an Air Lift dealer)

damn sonomagirl knows her stuff.
sporttruckspecialties does make one we just installed mine yesterday.its a pain in the ass to do.make sure you use a plasma cutter to get the old one out a regular torch makes a huge mess of it.
you can lay frame without the hole in the bed.thats how mine is set up.
we pulled all leaves ecept for the main one, then we flipped them. my bags are mounted on the leaf betwee the frame and the leaf(this makes the bags fast as hell too) all we did was notch my frame about 3"
we ran into 1 problem thoughi had 226c bags.but they are to big to do this setup they stick out to close to the rim and tire.you need to use 224c
may frame is down on the ground right now except for the other tranny crossmemeber the bolts are diggin in the ground.
also my gas tank is on the floor literally.so i wont draggit till i move it into my bed.

I'm not only an Air Lift dealer I'm also an Air Ride Tech and have our own kits.

We are only 1 of 4 in Canada I believe for Air Ride Tech.

Crossmember

Depends, I've never really looked under the single cabs. If there is a crossmember there, it may not be holding up the driveshaft but may still be the same design. I'll look under one tomorrow and let you know. IF they are the same then the extended cab ones are the same.

I've also picked up the GP on the crossmembers. I beleive they were $80 shipped anywhere.
