from the end of the front door at the body line to the body line on the back portion of the cab is 34.5 so the door will be shorted of course.

and i did say i was going to use the front inner part of the blazer door for the inside handle and window crank lol

It definitely seems to be a challenge of a build. crew cab 2nd gen? Big deal. They're cool (other than that there are a ton of them now). But I love 1st gen crew cab builds. Both of you guys seem to do really good work so keep it up!!

thanks but def no battle cause for some reason i tend to wonder on projects always something new. and between my 3 projects i got a boat i need running or sold, a tent trailer ready for spring and a c10 to build with a friend thats in my garage as well..

i would be happy to have the crew cab on a rolling chassis by spring tho. easier to have something rolling that i can push around when i need it out of my way..

i do have a nice little cab creeper that i used 3 pallets screwed together and used some 3" caster wheels that swivel of course from HF that were on sale i have a total of $12 into it and it works wonders moving a cab around fyi

I think i have enough s10's laying around to make one but i don't have crazy fabrication skills lol. So far from all the reading i've done sounds like the hardest part is the rear doors and doing something with the rear frame. But this build pushing me to give it a shot. Except I would go sas for something different never seen one at least.

so i was needing some door pins cause i misplaced them and only found one but decided to take the front doors off since the new doors i just got are in better shape so i cut the current ones up to help make the rears. also started the rear part of the roof just need to figure out the corners and get it welded up. probably wont work on it till next week tho

^dont be a dumbass!

i worked on the rear doors today got the white sectioned lined up an tacked in place so i could tack it up to the front part of the blazer door. now im stuck on what to do cause the front part of the door doesnt line up with the rear part of the front door body line.

so the body line dives down as it goes forward. so going from the rear forward the rear door body line dives down and doesnt run consistent so im kinda stuck right there.
