Getting ready to do cap and rotor on my 4.3 and accidentally popped the line on the left (longer side going towards distributor) and noticed it’s badly cracked (not sure if it was me or if it was already cracked but I def made it worse). I have no idea what it is but if it’s a vacuum hose it’s 100 percent not air tight and I would like to get it replaced asap, can someone pls lmk what the whole assembly’s is called and what it’s purpose is so I can swap it out? Thank you in advance!!

Yup,
A piece of 9/32 vacuum hose works perfect for repairing that purge line. I'm running 5 foot of it from the front of my LQ9 all the way down to the fuel filter area where I cut off the metal line from the canister. A lot easier to work with than that stiff plastic tubing. The outside diameter of the plastic is 5/16" so the 32nd smaller rubber seals real good. You can remove that test port if you want. I've never seen it used for anything.
