Ok.. going from the threaded oil port above the filter, down about 1/2" long. Leaks oil really good. Anybody ever stopped a pressurized oil leak with J-B weld?.
Thanks

I truly doubt that that would be the best way to go about it, which truck is the crack on, I'll try to ask my dad about it tonight, he works at a engine machine shop :)

ok here's the dealio, with oil leaking out, it's improbable that you'd be able to get the cracked area clean enough to stop the leak, the JB wouldn't hold well at all, being a pressurized area witht hat oil, your only real option is to get a new block...

small crack & a good welder

It's things like this that makes a good welder worth every penny. Check around your area for a good welder and If he'll do it, you're golden. A good welder will NOT do it if he feels if can't be done.
