this is a box imma make for a frend...
i have no clue on how to measure the ft^3 for a box with this shape...

so you could someone give me the ft^3 that i should get..
im lookin for about 1ft^3... thank you

use the box calculator on the rockford fosgate website. divide the box into 2 boxes, the lower section (top being where the bump out starts) and the other box starting from there. let me try to get a screenshot from AutoCAD as an example.

goddamn it...ok. dim's for the bottom box are
Bottom length 14"
Top length 14"
top width 6.3"
bottom width 8.25". tha should give you enough to do it

Assuming it is made out of 3/4" MDF......0.81cu ft.


Unless I'm just to damn tired to do the math.

yea it'll be made out of 3/4 mdf...3/4's only cuz i still have somemore left from my old box...
i need 1 ft^3 this is for a 12" kicker comp vr...

Nice scaling on the box. 8.25 is as big as 15, and 14 is way bigger than both.....


Just ribbin on ya... I believe Tempe's site has a link that tells how to find the volume of an enclosure that shape. Like they said, you just split it into an upper and lower section.
