I have a 96 4.3l engine that is leaking all the coolant into the engine blockl leaving me a nice milkshack in the block. I have been told two different things: one that my intake gasket is leaking and that I should rebuild the entire engine because i will wipe out the bearings, and two that my head gasket is leaking or my heads are cracked. If anyone has a similar problem or knows what is wrong your help is appriciated.

its the head gasket. fix it soon to or else it will warp your block and that will be really expensive to fix if they can. to mill a head only cost 60 then the gasket is 35. if you have a shope do it they will charge you like 6 or 700 for labor

If you have milkiness in your oil your done bro. Even w a flushing I wouldnt trust the bearings..Or anything else for that matter....Sure you dont have a cracked head or coolant passage....Keep an eye on it..Had a crack in my toyota v-6 that wound up running the dealer 4500 .
