does anyone know if the softtop kits leak? this hardtop has been a real bear!!! i've been considering buying the softtop but would like some input first. you don't see to many on the road so i haven't been able to ask all the questions i'd like. or are there any solutions to stop the hardtop from leaking.

hehehe... salukis... used to live in mt.vernon...most of the kits usually leak. the molding usually doesn't seat right. The only thing I can recommend is if the cuts were done correctly, is to reuse the original steel top and cut & weld the door & window channels to the top. The seam is almost invisible and u can use regular modified oem door rubber for the front & rear seals. You can use top latches from a Porsche 914 at all 4 corners. I don't recommend kits or softtops unless that's your preference.
