Making a center console here, and have a question. Is there some universal cut I can make for a CD Head unit? Or do I actually have to measure down smallest quarter of inches to make this thing fit?

Was hoping asking here might save me a headache and possibly a mistake and more cutting.

No one? How about this measurement...anyone ever put guages where the factory head-unit used to be? Trying to make a bezel, some done this before? I know I have seen pics.

Bought mine with a head-unit already in it. Dang. Wonder if one of the GM parts websites has one with specs...hmmmmm

If you are wanting to mount your head unit in your console just measure it. You shouldn't need another factory one in order to do it.
