why would you ever by the 450c non crome if it is rated 25 psi less and cost more???:wtf:
Its not rated at 25 psi more anymore.... didn't you read the last 5 or 6 posts???

matt - I edited the original post to reflect the change in PSI.
:stupid: and who in world would pay more for the same compressor, especially since the cheaper one is chrome????
I would assume the same reason cab stated earlier, Airlift is the one that distributes the chrome compressors, not viair, so they may sell them cheaper wholesale, than viair distributes the regular 450's.

That explains why they are priced the way they are, but that wasn't my question. Don't sweat it cuz it was more of a humorous observation then a question anyways.
So basically now the only differnet is the finish. Same compressor, chrome is cheaper. Period. Your choice!

So if we have our airlift 450's and have been running them at 170 PSI since we got it because the warrenty said 175 PSI, are we fuct if it messes up?
This guys got a interesting question
about how much faster would 2 450s fill a 5 gallon than 2 thomas that come in the eai kit?

I like this question too.
My assumption would be if you sent in your warranty card, you'd be fine, cuz they have proof you bought it before they are now changing this.
If you have been running the compressor at 170 PSI you will still have a warranty. All you will need to do is send in the receipt along with the compressor if you run into a issue.

Matt and Larry all the updated information is in the mail.
whats the deal with the 380c being able to have more preassure? does anyone have this one?
Thats the way its designed, thats why it can push more pressure.
hehe...just got my 2 450's last friday, thanks for the killer deal matt
