Alright Ive got a Viair 450c on 5 gallons of air....ive recently come into possession of another 5 gallon tank. I was wondering if i can use a Viair 380c and a 450C together. Id have the 380C on a 200psi pressure switch and the 450C on a 150psi switch like it is now. So the 380C is gonna run by itself from 150psi to 200psi. Is that an ok thing to do? I dont want to burn out the pump prematurely and I was wondering if it was ok to run it like being as that it would have the 450C pumping up with it for a while. Thanks guys

The 380c can't even go from 150 - 200 on a 5 gallon by its self.. So no, i wouldnt do it.. lol

It'll just work way past its duty cycle.. Theoretically it'll just hit the thermal overload.. But ehh..

Thanks guys...Ill just stick with 150psi and get another 450. I dont know a whole lot about this stuff and i figured Id better ask people who know. Slowly but surely Im learning and id rather ask questions than ruin compressors and shell out even more money that I wouldnt have if i woulda asked in the first place.
