Did my wife's w/o any modifications. Was unaware some one already covered it.....guess if it's s-10 it's here already lol.
There are some wiring tips that would come I handy if you have a Blazer since the harness with the looped wire is tucked up against the firewall. The trucks did not have them. I'm thinking the trucks had them from 97+ since that was the first year the auto floor console was available in them.
I suffered with the shifter stub on the column for years. When we did the LS swap we picked up a column from a 97 and swapped it out. Swapped the ignition switch from the 96 to 97 column to avoid having 2 keys.

I paid 500.00 for wife's blazer, and was trying to keep cost down, I have not attempted to do this in a truck format yet, the wiring was supported which made it easy, the fog lights were a different story. Had to swap front lighting harness all together, from fusebox, plus bcm and headlight switch. Then swapped in radio wheel controls, just have to have Chevy program the radio so the rds radio will work full time in it.

I did mine 15yrs ago. I bought all the parts for someone here on the site. It was from a blazer, I got the shifter the consoles and wires, and the shifter cable. It looks like it was factory. My truck came with buckets so it wasn't that hard. I still need to hook up the light tho.
