Hey all,
I have a 2002 S10 4.3L V6 2wd. The truck is clicking when I brake, turn left and go over speed bumps. The clicking is only coming from the front left hand side of the vehicle though. Sometimes it clicks once and sometimes it'll click 3-4 times. It sounds like metal on metal but I'm not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Wasn't there an issue with the hood hinges on 2nd gens making noise on bumps? Because they are a shoulder bolt there can be side play in them. The fix is to install a thin wave washer on the bolt. Most hardware stores carry them.
Or look at the left front wheel bearings.

Thanks for the responses.
Am I right in thinking that my truck doesn't have front cv joints? Most research I've done points to that

Brake lining spacer loose, tie rod joints loose, ball joints loose, tension bar rubber spacer worn out, caliber bolts loose.
