I've got a 91 S10 blazer with the 4.3. crank no start. Run some starting fluid and it immediately fires up, then dies. It doesn't sound like the fuel pump is kicking on. Run a hot wire direct from the battery and the pump, which is brand new, turns on but the truck still won't start. I would like to bypass the oil and coolant switches. Can anyone tell me if these should be open or closed to be in running mode? Thank you.

Sounds to me like the injector(s) aren’t delivering fuel. Might not be receiving the signal, or might be a bad ground for the FI harness.

I believe you are correct that the injectors are not receiving signal. I jumped the orange and gray wires at the relay and had the pump running. Still no start. Any idea why I wouldn't be getting the signal to the injectors?
