I drive a 95 S10 pickup with 110k miles. Just had the clutch replaced 3k miles ago.

My car is making a chirping noise when I drive it now. However, the noise goes away when I put slight pressure on the clutch. Any ideas? I'm gonna take it into the shop soon, just looking for some feedback.

Throwout bearing. It sits between the pressure plate and the "bar" that's mechanically hooked up to the clutch cable and the other end of the bell housing. This bearing spins when you push down on the clutch because the bar that's used to compress the pressure plate can't rotate with the spinning pressure plate. Also the output shaft of the transmission goes right through it. My 88 GT did it all the time when I put in the new clutch. No worries. Have a beer.
