My 1994 Sonoma has two different keys. One for the ignition - the other for the doors. The steering column in the Sonoma is the skinny cylindrical shaped kind. I also have a steering column from a 1997 S10, the thick kind. Could the ignition switches interchange? Thanks.

I doubt it, yours has a first gen column, a 92 or 93 may work.
