Hello guys. There is a video on YouTube of a dude with a 4.3 S10 with a .500/.500” lift cam in it and He says he is using all stock internals and that just installed the cam, but everything else I find about cams especially with this much lift say that I would Need to get my heads modified and and I would need to get new roller rockers, lifters etc. to compensate for the longer piston stroke or whatever. would it be possible to use this cam or any other camshaft with out modifying the heads or anything else Inside the engine? I’m just looking for a nasty sound not really hp or torque.
here is the links to the video and camshaft

Easiest way to get more noise is to do what modern manufacturers are doing: Install a sound-system and pipe engine sounds into the cab. Seriously! If you're not going for horsepower, this is a WAY more reliable solution.
