hey guys,

i just went outside b/c i finally have some time to make this CAI. i took out the factory crap but there is a tube that goes from the factory air box, to the valve cover.. what is this and if i need it how do i incorperate it into the CAI tubing?

i believe you're looking at the breather tube from the pcv system. many guys just add in a new breather filter system and take it out of the intake tract.

There is a small air filter you can stick into the valve cover instead of the small tube going to the intake assembly.

All the tube is doing is drawing filtered air into the PCV system.

The filter replaces it.
