What is the operating temp? Because I can't read the gauge that well. But it was below 220f for sure.
I know my Efan is set to kick on high when it hits 190, so I assumed that was operating temp
What is the operating temp? Because I can't read the gauge that well. But it was below 220f for sure.If it didn't get above 190, it never reached operating temperature.
That makes sense, all it told me is that the truck was in no danger of overheating, before the tune it liked to get hot. Made peak hp at 4800rpm and peak torque at 4200rpmWell, the thermostat fully opens at 195*, operating temp is between that and 212ish. Fan should start engaging around then. Factory gauge isn't all that accurate either, btw.
They charged me 200$ to reroute hoses and look for the oil leak, they didnt fix the oil leak but they did fix my blowoff valve, it was fluttering before so they plugged that in right, they also rerouted some hoses so that my crankcase is not preassurized from the boost anymore. I may just drive it with the leak and top it off every week, since it doesnt put boost into the crankcase anymore it slowed down but it is still a decent sized leak.Sounds like fun. It shouldn’t have blown the filter off. It should be sucking it on.
What did they charge you to fix the oil leak? If it’s still leaking I’d take it back. If you read my thread about our oil leak, we had the tranny out three times before we fixed all the leaks.
Cooler, denser air should mean more power.
Yeah, im only 18, but i have a pretty good work ethic, and if i start a project i finish it as best as i can.Im impressed, at the beginning of this thread i thought it was going to be flamed, but you actually boosted it.. impressed
Oh of course, in the future I may get another truck, but I want a 350z, and now that I have the chance to get one I can't pass it up. You all have been supportive through all of thisGood luck with it. Feel free to stop by and show us some pics.
