Before you reply or dont for that matter... Yes i searched ( i actually do though) (i've found alot actually)

Nevertheless... Removing the ABS on my '96 and going Hydroboost.

Three questions....

1.) Will i end up teeing the front or rear brakes?

2.) and will i be able to use the proportioning valve that bolted on the ABS unit? I'll just unbolt it and use it?

If i cant use that valve.... ill get one from the 1gen i suppose.

3.) How much will a salvage yard charge for the stock prop. valve?

If it means anything.... I got a brand spanking new adjustable prop valve that's still in the box. usable?

Im pretty sure I answered all of these questions for you before lol

1) You need a Tee for the front brakes.
2) Use the stock prop valve that came with the truck.
3) Put it in your pocket. Honestly salvage yards just make up prices, but it doesnt concern you because you dont need one. Theres no need to use the new one.

Again, complete how-to here:

i know.... i got a 1/4 all the way around Tee fitting. but didnt get the other parts.... i;; aquire them today.

My main concern was mainly the prop. valve that's bolted to the ABS.... just was making sure i can still use it or go the 1st Gen Valve......

Thank You.
