I have a 1997 s10 with a 2.2 5 speed as yall may know they didnt come with tachs i recently bought a 1997 blazer with the 4.3 i got the gauge cluster out of it can i make that tach work for the 4cyl and also when i v8 swap can i use it there

Search around the forum a bit because I've found all the info here before. You can solder in a capacitor on the back side to adjust how the tach reads. Will need different size capacitor for different number of cylinders.
