i am running 20x22 combo with a 3/4 drop, but my wheel/tire size is set up to lay out. right now i am tucking about 3/4" of tire up front, and about 1/4" of tire out back. i have 255/35 20's on a 20x8.5 ,and 285/30 22's on a 22x10.
you should be able to run 22x8.5's all the way around no problem, with a 265/40 22. this should actually give you around 1.5" to lower the truck and level it out. you want your truck to hug the tires. NO FENDERWELL GAP! dont let anyone tell you you need rubberband tires. thats what i have, and my truck is lowered 3/4. all thats gonna do is give you less cushion.
less cushion = rougher ride = bent rim
i have seen a few stockers with 24s, but that looks gross, and the most narrow 24 is prolly 10" wide. you wont be able to turn. a 22x8.5 is actually going to be hard to find. try handmade billett wheel companys. i have bonspeed wheels, they make a 22x8.5.
